MINI-SESSIONS
The Details
The sessions are 20 minutes long and we'll aim to capture family group pictures as well as kids/pets pictures in that time.
Maximum of 5 'models' per session, people and pets included. Full portrait sessions can be arranged for larger groups or if you require a variety of locations and outfit changes.
Within 5 days of your session you will be sent a link to a secure online gallery where you will be able to select the images that you want. All images will be available in low resolution watermarked jpegs which you are welcome to use on social media. You will also be able to select your 3 favourite images which will be professionally edited and supplied to you in high resolution format for printing to any size.
Additional high res images will be available to be purchased at $30 per image. Printing can also be arranged in a variety of formats should you so wish.
Please ensure that all participants on the day are looking good, are happily fed and rested and are prepared to pose!
The Terms & Conditions
This document is a contractual agreement made between: Tony Newby Photography (referred to hereafter as “Photographer”) and Client.
AGREEMENT TERMS
PORTRAIT SESSION: Client is guaranteed up to 20 minutes of shoot time. Mini sessions are limited time wise, so groups of 6 or more may require additional sessions which will be disclosed at the time of booking.
CANCELLATION/POSTPONEMENT: Client understands that by entering into this agreement, Photographer is foregoing other photographic jobs. In the event of a cancellation or postponement of the portrait session/agreement by Client, the amounts paid are non-refundable. Deposits are transferable if a date change is necessary. Forty-eight hours notice of postponements or cancellations is appreciated.
WEATHER: If it is not possible for a session to take place on a scheduled day due to weather, Photographer and Client will reschedule on an agreed date at the earliest date possible, with no additional charge.
COOPERATION/NO SHOWS: Photographer is not responsible if Client and/or key individuals fail to appear or cooperate during portrait sessions. If the photo session must be rescheduled due to clients cooperation where the photographer has traveled to reach the destination, additional travel fees will apply. Because mini sessions are scheduled on a very tight basis, any amount of time the client is late will be deducted from their session. Client agrees to try to arrive 10 minutes before their time slot to prevent this.
COPYRIGHT: The client agrees that TONY NEWBY PHOTOGRAPHY owns the Copyright in all photographs. The client gives permission to Photographer to use any image of the session for industry competitions and as required subsequent usage and for reasonable general promotional advertising .
CLIENT’S USAGE: Client is obtaining prints for personal use only, and shall not sell said prints or authorize any reproductions by parties other than Photographer. Prints for publication (such as editorial, public relations or advertising use) require prior written consent from Photographer. A credit line which reads "Tony Newby Photography" in type no smaller than that of the related text must appear adjacent to or within all permitted published photographs.
Watermarked low resolution images may be provided for the clients to share with friends and family. The client is welcome to tag themselves and share these images; however altering the image in any way, including cropping out the watermark is a direct breach of Copyright.
LIMIT OF LIABILITY: We take the utmost care with respect to the exposure, retouching, and transportation of digital captures, proofs and prints. However, in the unlikely event that all the originals are lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed within or beyond Photographer’s control, Photographer’s liability is limited to the refund of all payments received, or a reshoot can be scheduled at no additional cost. The limit of liability for partial loss or damage of originals shall be a prorated amount of the total amount, based on the percentage of originals lost or damaged. In the unlikely event that Photographer is injured or becomes too ill to attend the portrait session, Photographer will make every effort to reschedule to the earliest possible date.
PORTRAIT FEES: Portrait fees are payable in full in advance unless otherwise specified.
RETOUCHING, CONVERSIONS AND DIGITAL FILES: Standard retouching includes light blemish and stray hair removal. Complex retouching includes such changes as the removal of scars or heavy blemishes. Tonal conversions include converting color images to black-and-white. Files are automatically lightly retouched and available in color and black and white for no added fee. Complex retouching may result in an additional fee.
Low-resolution digital files are provided in jpeg format at 640 x 480 resolution for free with your session. Client understands prints must not be made from these low-resolution images and are for your digital viewing only.
Hi-resolution digital files are delivered via DROPBOX within two weeks of your session as well as a print release.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT: This agreement contains the entire understanding between Photographer and Client. It supersedes all prior agreements between the parties. The only way to add or change this agreement is to do so in writing, signed by all the parties. If the parties want to waive one provision of this agreement, it does not mean that any other provision is also waived.
This constitutes an order for one portrait mini session with Tony Newby Photography.
