Painting With Light

I've long been a fan of night photography, I love what you can do with long exposures and reflections and especially finding ways to best use the available light. A fun part is adding in additional lights yourself to create exciting and intriguing images.

On Sunday night I joined a group of night and astrophotography enthusiasts to do just this, play around with light painting. And there were some great results.

A variety of tools were used to get these results including steel wool, whisks, blow torches, torches, led lights and even a bicycle wheel! Sadly the rain came in before we could get playing with the pixel stick but it was still a lot of fun.

Thanks to Jay and Jo for leading the evening.
